Description:
As part of the solution development team, the Technical Analyst is involved in two core areas: Maintenance and Support and Custom Solution Development. Both are integral to Knoa’s product roadmap and implementation and support strategy. This role will be engaged in almost all aspects of the product development cycle from design and requirements to implementation and quality control.
Maintenance and Support:
Executes resolution of support tickets for designated accounts
Executes ongoing Maintenance Checks for designated accounts
Reviews and prioritizes maintenance checks reports and follows up with necessary actions
Generates new maintenance checks based on Support Tickets that have not been detected through the regular checks
Executes product upgrades for customer accounts
Custom Solution Development:
Executes the technical implementation of product extensions, customizations or new product modules in the customer environment
Participates in the definition of technical requirements for new product features or product extensions
Requirements:
Methodical oversight and perseverance required
Strong work ethic, high level of responsibility and diligence with tasks
Ability to write scripts from scratch and debug existing scripts
Knowledge of core Java
Ability to build and deploy all of the Knoa product components (client, server, console, database) and troubleshoot problems when they occur
Accurately execute tests
Write test scripts with an eye on regression testing whenever possible
Ability to plan and assess risk factors
Assemble product designs and requirements from scratch
Delegate tasks and oversee work performed by others
Open communication with the team
Strong algorithmic and optimization skills
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science required
